EDM is increasingly becoming a part of automated production processes. How wire and sinker EDM can be integrated into existing manufacturing workflows will be demonstrated by Sodick at AMB 2026.

With the introduction of the automated blasting system S1 from AM Solutions, the German 3D printing service provider FORMRISE has significantly improved its post-processing for SLS components. Through an integrated 2-in-1 process for cleaning and surface treatment, the company was able to reduce the post-processing time by around 50%.

With Nagel Technologies, Kadia, Gehring Technologies, and FLP Microfinishing, the Nagel Group will demonstrate at AMB 2026 how these requirements can be met throughout the entire process chain - from flexible honing processing to highly productive series production and Deephone to AI-supported surface finishing.
