Karl-Heinz Arnold GmbH (Arno Tools) draws a positive conclusion from the trade fair. The family-owned company welcomed many interested visitors at its booth, including many regular customers with specific inquiries seeking advice on process optimizations. Additionally, the exhibitor recorded many first contacts. The interest from foreign visitors at the booth was also encouraging. Many guests wanted to learn about the 'Arno Effect', under which the company promises opportunities for optimization in machining processes.

‘With our concept of customer-oriented, partnership-based collaboration in process optimizations, we see ourselves on the right track after the successful AMB,’ emphasizes Simon Storf, Managing Director at Arno Tools. ‘This provides our customers with a special added value beyond the purchase of high-quality precision tools,’ adds Marketing Manager Lukas Moumtsilis. Many visitors at the trade fair wanted to know more about this, especially how the Arno Effect offers them opportunities to keep their production on a successful course.

‘Sometimes our booth was so full that visitors had to wait for a gap,’ reports Anja Winterstein from Arno Marketing. Especially the new products podium was always crowded. There, the manufacturer presented new highly positive, double-sided inserts ground in PS2 geometry, new AFC clamping holders with internal cooling, and the new AKS internal turning system for compact and precise internal turning starting from 1 mm cutting width.

The new MAX axial modules for cutting widths of 3 and 4 mm with innovative internal cooling ACS1, which are compatible with SE and SA inserts on VDI & common direct mountings, as well as products for processing lead-free brass, were also new. Particularly the latter were very popular, as the new EU regulation in this area requires significant changes in the processing of such materials.

Specialist in extensively ground inserts

The tool manufacturer relies on a wide range of tools with a high level of manufacturing depth. This benefits users not only in large quantities but also in small series and particularly tricky special tools. The family-owned company draws immense know-how from its extensive experience with applications, offering its customers many opportunities to continue being successful. Many visitors at the trade fair also recognized why Arno Tools is a leading supplier of extensively ground plates.

‘Proximity to customers and users is extremely important to us, and a long-term partnership is always our goal,’ explains Dieter Wollensack, Sales Manager South at Arno Tools. Especially in these times of great changes and transformations, established users have a high consulting need, as many industries, materials, and products are often new and unfamiliar to them. ‘This was clearly shown by many inquiries from trade fair visitors regarding projects in aerospace and medical technology,’ confirms Moumtsilis. With suitable tools, as well as cutting parameters for increasing production, Arno Tools supports its customers even in new fields.

Positive trade fair conclusion inspires optimism

Thus, the trade fair conclusion from Arno Tools is clearly positive. With what it sees as the right focus on continued partnership-based collaboration, the tool manufacturer looks optimistically to the future. The large numbers of exhibitors and trade fair visitors at this year's AMB, as well as the faint signs of growth from home and abroad, also provide a boost.
