The interest in the trade fair double Intec and Z is high – already half a year before the start, strong participation is evident with industry giants such as Paul Horn, Yamazaki Mazak, and Starrag. From March 2 to 5, 2027, the Leipzig exhibition grounds will once again become the central international meeting point for machine tools, manufacturing technology, and industrial supply. The specialist program promises fresh impulses for the industry in this edition as well. For the first time, a start-up area will open in 2027, providing young, innovative companies with space to present their ideas for a successful future in the industry.

The strong response from the industry sends a clear signal: Even in economically challenging times, leading companies rely on personal dialogue in Leipzig,” emphasizes project director Ulrike Lange. “At Intec and Z, technology competence and decision-making willingness come together. The good registration rate from numerous industry leaders shows us that the demand for practical solutions, process optimization, and reliable networks is greater than ever.

New start-up area celebrates its premiere

For the first time, start-ups have the opportunity to present themselves and their ideas in their own area. The new area Intec-Z-Start-ups brings together young companies that present new business models or technological developments to the professional audience. Companies that have been on the market for a maximum of five years, have fewer than 30 employees, and have newly developed or significantly improved products, processes, or innovative services can apply for the area. Registration is possible via the website.
