Today, the AMB – International Exhibition for Metalworking – 2026 was officially opened by Roland Bleinroth, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, and Kati Wilhelm. Until September 19, the international metalworking industry will meet for the 22nd edition at the Messe Stuttgart exhibition grounds. Under the claim 'Where metal comes alive', visitors can expect the entire process chain of metal cutting.
Roland Bleinroth, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart, emphasizes: 'The AMB 2026 shows how strongly the international metalworking industry stands by its meeting point in Stuttgart. With 1,195 exhibitors from 34 countries and the occupancy of all ten halls, the fair combines regional anchoring with international reach. We look forward to five days of the fair that showcase practical solutions, open perspectives for the future, and provide space for new contacts and collaborations.'

For over 40 years, the AMB has been held in Stuttgart – right in the heart of Baden-Württemberg, one of Europe's leading machine engineering regions.
Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister for Economic Affairs, Crafts and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg, underscores the importance of the AMB for the location:

Kati Wilhelm, three-time Olympic champion and five-time world champion in biathlon, emphasized this connection at the opening:
