Danobat continuously develops its technologies for precision manufacturing and supports manufacturers in meeting the increasing demands for automation, flexibility, and process reliability. At AMB 2026 (Hall 5, Stand B71, September 15-19, Stuttgart), the company will present its latest solutions for grinding, hard turning, and automation under the motto 'Boosting transformation, together.'
LG-400: More autonomy. Same footprint.
Danobat presents the LG-400 with S-Flexmotion, the fully integrated automation solution for external cylindrical grinding. Designed for increased productivity with unchanged footprint, the LG-400 offers manufacturers more autonomy without requiring additional space on the production floor.
Unlike conventional automation solutions with external robot cells or gantry systems, the robot in S Flexmotion is fully integrated into the machine. This creates a compact, flexible, and efficient grinding solution that increases the degree of automation, reduces manual interventions, and simultaneously ensures consistently high component quality.
With the LG-400, Danobat demonstrates that intelligent automation goes far beyond mere productivity increases, enabling manufacturers to achieve more flexibility, higher process reliability, and better utilization of available production space.
IRD-500 with robot cell: Maximum flexibility through automation
Overbeck presents the IRD-500 with a fully integrated robot cell and shows how automation can be seamlessly integrated into high-precision grinding processes.
The IRD-500 is designed for the machining of demanding and high-quality workpieces and combines internal, external, flat, radius, thread, non-round, and jig grinding on a single machine with a common control platform. It remains the only solution on the market that fully integrates radius and non-round grinding in a single software environment.
The integrated robot cell allows for fully automatic loading and unloading, reduces manual interventions, and simultaneously increases process stability, repeat accuracy, and machine availability. With up to five grinding spindles and an integrated measuring probe, the IRD-500 combines state-of-the-art grinding technology with intelligent automation, ensuring maximum manufacturing flexibility, consistently high component quality, and reliable unmanned production.
MikroTurn 100: High-precision hard turning for complex profiles
Hembrug presents the MikroTurn 100 and demonstrates its ability to manufacture high-precision components with complex planetary profiles in a single controlled finishing process. Thanks to wear-free hydrostatic technology, the machine enables complete machining in one setup – including flat, external, and internal machining as well as even complex internal threads.
Designed for maximum precision and productivity, the MikroTurn 100 achieves short machining times due to its high tool stiffness. It allows for higher material removal rates and up to three times faster cycle times than comparable machining technologies. At the same time, it offers maximum flexibility in producing a wide variety of thread profiles with standard CBN indexable inserts, making special tools unnecessary while still achieving accuracies in the IT1 to IT3 range.
