The two-day event focused on numerous expert presentations on key future topics in the industry. The speakers provided insights into heavy machining, non-round turning with the SHW KonturAgent, digitalization and artificial intelligence, innovative automation solutions, retrofitting and optimization, as well as machine highlights of today and tomorrow. Following this, moderated discussions provided space for professional dialogue and individual questions.
In addition, SHW employees guided visitor groups through the production facility and provided exclusive insights into production processes and technical features of SHW machines. SHW Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH was supported by several companies that were present as co-exhibitors. From tools to automation solutions, guests were able to get a picture and receive firsthand information directly from the manufacturers.
The first day of the fair concluded with a relaxed evening event that offered participants ideal opportunities for networking and in-depth discussions. Customers are increasingly seeking direct, professional exchange - without the anonymity of large trade fairs. Therefore, we will consciously reduce our presence at large trade fair venues in the future and instead offer more focused, smaller formats. These allow us to present our portfolio in a much deeper, more personal, and practical manner.'
With the Innovation Days 2025, SHW Werkzeugmaschinen once again underscores its role as a driving force in the machine tool industry and thanks all guests for their visit and engagement. The following day, the company also celebrated its annual Christmas party. In addition to culinary offerings, the focus was on honoring long-serving employees.
