Visitors from around the world will experience solution-oriented machine concepts for companies of all sizes up close during these two weeks. The focus is on industry-specific applications in the areas of Aviation & Space, Data & Semiconductor, as well as Die & Mold. "We combine future-oriented machining technologies with integrated processes, automation, digital solutions, and reliable service throughout the entire machine lifecycle. This demonstrates that modern manufacturing does not have to be complex – when technologies are thought through holistically, implemented modularly, and tailored to the needs of particularly small and medium-sized enterprises," says Cornelius Nöß, Chief Managing Director of DMG MORI Pfronten, about the range of services.

Another highlight at the Pfronten location: the opening of the new 4,500 m² training center, where the next generation of young talents is being fostered. Technology seminars focused on Machining Transformation (MX) and the associated manufacturing solutions complete the program of the in-house exhibition.

Innovative new developments across the entire portfolio

The basis for the holistic solution offering is a comprehensive range of machines for a wide variety of metalworking processes. On an area of 4,500 m², DMG MORI showcases over 40 machines and more than 20 automation solutions during the in-house exhibition. Three world premieres are in focus: In universal turning, the machine tool manufacturer presents the CTX 450 4A. DMG MORI introduces the 5-axis horizontal machining center DMU 65 H monoBLOCK and the LASERTEC 65 DED hybrid in the field of additive manufacturing using a second-generation powder nozzle. The Robo2Go 3rd generation is presented as an innovation in the field of automation.

Technology expertise for integrated and scalable production

The world premieres exemplify a path that DMG MORI consistently maintains in the further development of its product range. "Advanced 5-axis technologies and fully integrated automation solutions are the key to a long-term competitive future in increasingly globalized markets," explains Cornelius Nöß, referring to the exhibition spectrum. The manufacturing solutions presented are a guarantee for productivity, process reliability, and exceptional quality. DMG MORI's extensive machine and automation portfolio offers maximum flexibility to meet all requirements of modern production, whether for single part or mass production.

The manufacturer demonstrates the entire range of available technologies in several exhibition areas – from flexible 5-axis solutions to powerful turn-mill machines for 6-sided complete machining, as well as Advanced Technologies. Here, additive manufacturing on LASERTEC DED hybrid and LASERTEC SLM machines, as well as the ULTRASONIC models and vertical multi-process grinding machines from the Vertical Mate series, are the focus. An Automation Area showcases the use of autonomous transport systems. With the autonomous handling of machine pallets, material pallets, chip carts, and tools, forward-looking AMR models impressively demonstrate how entire production processes can be organized without personnel on the shop floor.

Quality-oriented, efficient, and sustainable through Machining Transformation (MX)

With the Machining Transformation (MX), DMG MORI creates a foundation for the manufacturing of the future. Consistent process integration, flexible automation solutions, and fully digitized processes achieve shorter setup and cycle times, more precise machining results, and a more resource-efficient production. The technological backbone of this concept consists of turning-milling centers, milling-turning machines, and horizontal machining centers that integrate additional work steps into a single setup. At the same time, they offer high connectivity to make processes more efficient with the help of digital solutions – starting from production planning all the way to
NC programming and finally to quality control. Cornelius Nöß emphasizes the added value of the concept: "DMG MORI pursues a holistic approach with the Machining Transformation (MX) that streamlines processes while simultaneously increasing productivity and efficiency." This also has a significant impact on the Green Transformation (GX). For both ecological and economic reasons, the shift towards sustainable manufacturing is becoming an increasingly competitive factor.

Strong partner for companies of all sizes

Industry-leading companies as well as the entire supply industry rely on reliable manufacturing solutions to remain competitive in the global market. In close collaboration with its customers, DMG MORI designs customized manufacturing solutions that meet the increasing demands for quality, efficiency, and productivity. Future-proof CNC machines are essential in this regard. DMG MORI particularly emphasizes this with its world premieres:

The CTX 450 4A offers optimal connectivity for a networked production, while the 5-axis DMU 65 H monoBLOCK enables a high level of process integration and efficient processes in a single setup.

In particular, small and medium-sized enterprises benefit from access to well-thought-out concepts with flexible and scalable automation – if needed, also as easily retrofittable options. The new Robo2Go 3rd generation is just as good an example as the proven PH Cell solutions for modular pallet handling. The partnership with customers extends over the entire machine lifecycle, adds Cornelius Nöß: "From consulting to installation and training to responsive service, DMG MORI ensures comprehensive and customer-oriented support." Because reliable production is the foundation for healthy growth.

Young Talent for Innovation

The future begins with the people who shape it. Practical knowledge transfer in machine tool construction is therefore an important prerequisite for future generations. The next generation faces the challenge of driving innovations forward in the future. While the DMG MORI Academy has been supporting the promotion of young talent for many years in cooperation with training workshops and educational institutions, the machine tool manufacturer also places great importance on an optimal learning environment within its own company. DMG MORI underscores this with the new 4,500 m² training center in Pfronten, which will be opened during the in-house exhibition in Pfronten. “With the modern training center, we create space for ideas, enthusiasm for technology, and first-class training,” says Cornelius Nöß. Around 150 trainees, interns, and dual students will be prepared here for the challenges of Industry 4.0. With innovative technology and practical learning environments, DMG MORI aims to pass on genuine enthusiasm for mechanical engineering to the next generation: “Because they are a decisive shaper of the future. They bring new ways of thinking, digital skills, and a natural affinity for technologies and sustainable solutions. It is all the more important to equip young talents so that they can confidently take on their tasks and actively drive change.”
