As an important start to the year and a stable cornerstone of the industry, Intec and the Supplier Fair Z will take place from March 11 to 14. Despite challenging economic conditions, it has been possible to maintain the strong presence of companies from the machinery and plant engineering sector as well as the classic supply industry at the top level of the previous event. This once again underscores the significance of the first major industry meeting at the beginning of the business year.

"The numerous and high-profile registrations from market and technology leaders as well as from small and medium-sized enterprises demonstrate that Intec and Z provide optimal conditions in the heart of a strong mechanical engineering region. The focus on Central and Eastern Europe is unique and will enable decision-makers and professionals to establish business connections that cannot be found as concentrated at any other trade fair location in the metalworking industry," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.

Support from politics, associations, and advisory board

Saxony's Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Panter says regarding his tour on March 13: "The trade fair alliance is a valuable industry meeting point for European players in mechanical and plant engineering, robotics, and the supply industry. The fairs connect industry representatives and provide impulses for tackling various challenges in global competition. Thus, the industry and each individual company must simultaneously focus on several goals: increasing productivity, utilizing renewable energy sources, digitizing industrial processes, and enhancing the resilience of supply chains and networks. I look forward to the trade fair tour and to interesting conversations with innovative Saxon exhibitors."
Oliver Köhn, Managing Director of VDMA Ost, adds: "The trade fair double right on our doorstep is a stroke of luck for the region. It promises many exciting product innovations and technologies to experience firsthand. At the same time, exhibitors find the perfect platform here to increase their visibility and attract new customers – a true catalyst for innovation, cooperation, and ultimately growth."
"The Leipzig Trade Fair is celebrating its 860th birthday this year. For the 19th time, Intec, the largest 'showcase' for technology and innovation in East Germany, is taking place. N+P, as a digitalization partner for industry, is showcasing examples of the growing convergence of the real and digital worlds. We cultivate business and relationships at Intec. Leipzig has been the ideal place for trade and openness for centuries and continues to be so today," summarizes Intec advisory board member Jens Hertwig.

Complete value chain at a glance

Both technology leaders from the machine tool industry, renowned providers of precision tools, specialists in automation solutions, and international suppliers showcase innovations or optimized products and services at the trade fair duo. The Intec's offerings consist primarily of machine tools, machine components, tools, and clamping devices, as well as manufacturing automation – a range of digital solutions and smart developments await visitors. The Z specializes in innovative and flexible supply services for lower and middle production stages.

Expertise meets diversity in the specialist and framework program.

The complex exhibition is rounded off by a specialized program that addresses the most important future-oriented topics related to additive manufacturing, hydrogen system production, digitalization, and automation. The interactive forum hy.tec and the associated exhibition visually illustrate the value chain for the first time, facilitate exchanges with experts, and provide support for entering new business areas in the rapidly growing hydrogen technology market. The technology forum "Additive Manufacturing" demonstrates through numerous high-profile presentations and practical application examples across various industries how this key technology can revolutionize the design and manufacturing process of products. The accompanying program, featuring an exclusive industry evening, international business meetings, and a youth day, offers the opportunity to establish targeted contacts domestically and internationally with suppliers, customers, new employees, or partners.
