The manufacturer of process-optimized precision tools showcases solutions for machining graphite and hardened steel at booth B41 in Hall 3 of the Leipzig fair: Due to its low cutting force and pronounced smooth operation, the Graftor enables the safe production of even delicate electrodes. The second tool presented, HHF646, was specifically developed for the efficient machining of hardened steel with over 45 HRC.

The Hard-Line tool series from Hufschmied has a new specialized addition with the HHF646. Thanks to its coating and geometry, the tool is characterized by great smooth operation and above-average tool life in many materials. The reduced cutting force and the exceptional smooth operation of the tool enable efficient processes.
Machining brittle and hard materials with ease

Even with the graphite special tool Graftor, smooth operation is a success factor. This tool can create fine structures that would break out with other tools due to the brittleness of the material. At the same time, with the Graftor, which can be used for roughing and finishing due to its special tool geometry, exceptionally high material removal rates can be achieved.
