Turners between Challenges and Future Plans

The turned parts industry looks back on a difficult year – between declines and upheavals, the hope for stabilization is at the forefront for 2025. In Fulda, manufacturers, machine builders, and tool specialists came together to discuss opportunities at the spring meeting of the turned parts association.

A small groove makes the difference: Waibl GmbH in Hofolding near Munich has recognized the advantages of the new cutting insert VBMX of the MultiLTurn system from INGERSOLL WERKZEUGE GMBH and is now using it for all turning operations after initial tests – and these are quite diverse at the machine manufacturer.
