Future-oriented turning technology for smart machining
Automatic Tool Changer ATC elevates Miyano short lathe to a new level
Four-spindle long/short lathe with high utilization
The star of the 2026 open house at INDEX was the brand new multi-spindle TRAUB MS12-4. Although the terms multi-spindle and INDEX have been associated for a long time, the new concept of the MS12-4 is a completely independent and highly interesting development that promises fourfold productivity.
Workhorse in heavy machining
Citizen upgrades the Miyano ABX short lathe series for µm-precise results in heavy machining.
Slim entry-level model
With the TRAUB TNL12 lean, INDEX is launching an entry-level variant of the proven small long-short turning machine.
High-productive and space-saving short-turning machine
The new production turning machine TRAUB TNK40 is a pure short-turner, developed based on the long-turning machine TNL32 compact. Instead of the movable spindle head for long turning, the TNK40 has a fixed spindle head with a 40 mm passage. Due to the low-vibration bar feed, the machine achieves a higher overall stiffness than the long-turning execution and thus more dynamics.
Compact long-short lathe for complex tasks
Even more compact than the long-short automatic lathe TRAUB TNL32? 'If it can't be done, it doesn't exist,' thought the developers. The result: The TRAUB TNL32 compact, which requires a smaller footprint – comparable to the TNL20 – yet still has performance data that nearly matches that of the 'normal' TNL32.
