The N-ZAPEX in the XN variant stands for standardization and complexity reduction in smaller sizes with the largest displacement capacities and bore diameters in its class.

With the new N-ZAPEX coupling series, Flender expands its coupling portfolio with a series designed for economic advantages over the entire lifecycle. With the highest torque density in the market combined with the largest displacement capacities, a new standard for gear couplings is set. The N-ZAPEX comes in two versions, XN and XW, each tailored to different customer requirements.

N-ZAPEX XN – Standardization for Maximum Efficiency

The XN variant stands for standardization and complexity reduction as well as an excellent cost-benefit ratio in smaller sizes.

Reusable components, the largest displacement capacities and bore diameters in its class, along with simplified installation, make N-ZAPEX XN ideal for users focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

N-ZAPEX XW – Highest Technical Demands, Innovative Sealing

The XW version is the gear coupling for large sizes. The extreme power density, wide variety of variants, and exceptional modularity provide users with maximum performance and flexibility. With up to 10 million Nm torque, optimal durability, and service and assembly friendliness, N-ZAPEX XW is the solution for the most demanding industrial challenges. The patented Hollow-O-Ring sealing concept consists of a continuous rubber hose. It allows for large displacement capacities, quick replacement without special tools, and reduces effort in service cases.

The capacities for accommodating displacements are around 60% higher in the XN series and 30% higher in the XW series compared to the predecessor series. The compact design and low weight of both versions enable straightforward installation and maintenance as well as efficient spare parts management.
