With new developments and series expansions, Zecha has a lot of innovative tool solutions to offer at AMB. Additionally, the specialist for micro-precision tools is celebrating its 60th anniversary.

Upgrade PEACOCK Series

With the new PEACOCK HIGH FEED SERIES, you achieve extraordinary results when roughing high-hardness steels thanks to ZECHA's leading technology.

The optimized Peacock series sets new standards for future challenges in hard machining. Thanks to the latest technology, significantly higher process reliability and extended tool life, especially in high-hard materials, can be achieved. These properties make it ideal for use in powder steels. A standout feature of the optimized PEACOCK cutter is the reduced risk of chipping and the uniform and low wear at the cutting edge.

These improvements lead to a reduced tendency to chip, significantly increasing the reliability and lifespan of the tool. Overall, the new PEACOCK cutter offers an outstanding solution for machining high-hard materials and sets new standards in terms of surface quality and efficiency in cutting technology.

High Feed Cutters of the PEACOCK Series

The high feed cutters of the PEACOCK series present a new tool concept in the diameter range of 1 – 12 mm as an excellent addition to ZECHA's tool portfolio. This concept allows for use as a roughing tool, which is ideal for machining large surfaces with shallow depths as well as small interfering contours and complex shapes. Particularly noteworthy is the performance of the PEACOCK high feed cutter when machining steels in the hardness range of 58-65 HRC. It also shows excellent results with powder steels in the high-hard range. A decisive advantage over competitive products is the significantly lower spindle load generated by this tool. This property allows even smaller HSK spindles such as HSK32, HSK40, and HSK50 to be equipped with the PEACOCK high feed cutter, greatly increasing flexibility and application possibilities. Another outstanding feature of the PEACOCK high feed cutter is its high reliability: the cutting edges do not chip, and wear occurs uniformly, leading to a significantly reduced tendency to chip. These properties contribute to an extended tool life and consistently high machining quality.

ZECHA presents the new MARLIN 3D LASER SERIES, an innovative solution for machining ceramics and hard metals. The most advanced laser technology offers decisive advantages and flexibility to produce highly precise, complex, and delicate 3D tool geometries. This novel series revolutionizes tool design and improves efficiency. The MARLIN 3D LASER SERIES has been specifically developed for more demanding applications and features a large number of teeth. A precise and fine geometry of the cutting tools significantly reduces cutting forces during the machining process.

Thus, heat generation is reduced and tool life is increased. This positively affects overall process reliability. By precisely tuning the geometry, higher efficiency is achieved, which is reflected in excellent edge formation, accurate dimensions and shapes, and outstanding surface quality of the component. The use of cooling lubricants from the shaft cooling channels allows for targeted and uniform placement at the tool edges even at high rotational speeds. Thanks to intensive cooling lubrication, friction and tool wear are minimized, while tool life, surface quality, and productivity are increased.

To expand the portfolio for our customers, ZECHA has always entered into partnerships. With the company Alfatool from Switzerland, we have a partner whose tools perfectly complement our micro-precision tools, and the cutters from the company WEDCO from Austria expand our offering in the upper diameter range. A part of the product ranges of both companies will also be presented by ZECHA at AMB 2024 in Stuttgart. Additionally, the optical testing devices from CIMTRODE will also be available at the trade fair booth. With advanced optics and integrated software, these devices enable the automatic analysis of micro-tools. See for yourself and let the C-View devices be demonstrated.

MPK Special Tools from Schwäbisch Gmünd is also represented at ZECHA's booth. The focus at MPK is on custom tool solutions - individually and flexibly manufactured stamping and forming tools with precision and a high degree of accuracy. An excerpt from the repertoire will be on display at AMB.
