Clamping technology thought differently

HAINBUCH presented industry-specific clamping solutions at the AMB that are designed not from the perspective of the clamping device, but from the application.

Whether in medical technology, heavy-duty, defense, fluid technology, or robotics – the requirements for modern clamping technology differ significantly. In medical technology, delicate components, difficult-to-machine materials, and the highest surface requirements are the focus. Heavy-duty applications demand particularly robust, contamination-resistant clamping technology for large and tolerance-sensitive components. In the defense sector, secure, rigid, and low-vibration workpiece clamping for demanding rotationally symmetrical workpieces is essential. In robotics, thin-walled and highly precise components, such as those for humanoid robot gearboxes, are increasingly coming to the forefront.

"We understand industries – and that’s exactly what we demonstrated at AMB," says Stefan Nitsche, Director of International Sales at HAINBUCH. "Our customers today are not just looking for a clamping device. They are looking for a solution to a specific manufacturing problem. To do this, we need to understand components, processing, quality requirements, and economic goals."

At the trade fair booth, HAINBUCH makes this industry understanding tangible through various applications. The focus is not on individual products, but on concrete manufacturing tasks from practice: How can a workpiece be clamped securely and rigidly despite short clamping lengths? How can vibrations be reduced, roundness requirements met, or processing times shortened and setup times optimized? And how must clamping technology be designed to function reliably even in automated processes?

"Industry-specific solutions do not arise by chance," adds Stefan Nitsche. "They come from dialogue with customers, from experience in real manufacturing processes, and from the ability to intelligently adapt standard technology."

With its trade fair appearance, HAINBUCH demonstrated how complex industry requirements can be translated into practical clamping solutions – for more productive, stable, and economical manufacturing processes.
