The MAPAL Group is consistently advancing the strategic realignment of its organization in Germany. Following the renaming of the company headquarters to MAPAL Dr. Kress SE & Co. KG in June 2025 and the restructuring of the corporate group as a process-driven organization, the company is now taking the next significant step.
With this measure, MAPAL consolidates its structures in Germany and lays the foundation for uniform processes, clear responsibilities, and more efficient workflows. The process-driven organizational structure introduced in 2025 forms the basis for the upcoming legal consolidation. The goal is to further simplify collaboration with customers and partners while sustainably strengthening the organization's performance.
"The merger is a logical next step in the transformation of our family business," emphasizes Dr. Jochen Kress, Managing Director of MAPAL Dr. Kress SE & Co. KG. "We have consistently aligned our internal processes with the needs of our customers. The legal consolidation now creates the necessary clarity and efficiency to optimally support this alignment structurally: We reduce organizational complexity while simultaneously increasing our responsiveness with the aim of better meeting our customers' needs."
As part of the realignment, the German companies MAPAL WWS, MAPAL ITS, Miller, August Beck, Weisskopf Werkzeuge, and WTE Präzisionstechnik will merge with the company headquarters MAPAL Dr. Kress SE & Co. KG. All existing locations will remain as production facilities with their respective product portfolios, ensuring continuity in manufacturing, know-how, and customer proximity.
For customers, suppliers, and partners, the restructuring offers advantages: a central contractual partner, harmonized processes, and simplified communication – without compromising on personal support or the technical expertise for which MAPAL has been known for decades. Existing contracts and agreements will remain unchanged and will be transferred to MAPAL Dr. Kress SE & Co. KG as part of the overall legal succession.
"All measures of our organizational development follow a clear guideline," emphasizes Dr. Kress. "We are strategically investing in structures, processes, and employees to ensure MAPAL remains competitive in the long term – as an independent family business with an international focus."
