As a leading manufacturer of material and process-optimized milling tools, Hufschmied will exhibit machining systems from March 10 to 12, 2026, at JEC World in Paris. At booth 6N52 of the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, Hufschmied will present tools that meet the specific challenges posed by machining plastics and fiber-reinforced plastics. Co-exhibitor is SoniCut, a manufacturer of ultrasonic cutting systems, which supplies blades to Hufschmied.

A partnership is also behind one of the exhibits at the booth: a Ureol mold for laying the CFRP fabric for a flying wing drone. The same milling processing example will also be shown at the booth of the machine manufacturer CMS (5N58). This is a joint project from an aerospace event at Hufschmied. The highly efficient machining was carried out with the tools Blockbuster, Mini-Graftor, and T-REX.
Without delamination
"When machining CFRP components with standard tools, one must expect delamination and the need to rework rough edges. In contrast, our tools specifically developed for composite materials produce perfect surfaces right away – many of our customers have saved a complete work step this way," says Christl Hufschmied, managing director of Hufschmied Zerspanungssysteme GmbH, referring to the tools T-REX and HEXACUT, which will be showcased at JEC World. An application example of these tools, which are distinguished by their cutting geometry and coating, is a CFRP battery tray.
Machining lightweight materials
Another focus of the trade fair appearance is the machining of aerospace materials such as honeycomb. For this, Hufschmied presents durable ultrasonic cutting blades and a specialized milling tool called the Fiber-Cracker. It is particularly suitable for honeycomb materials without cover layers.
