The EASYTap tapping tool from LMT Tools combines highest performance with best cost-effectiveness and easy handling, making it a flexible all-rounder for process-safe thread manufacturing in blind and through holes. The multi-talented tool is now also available in a set with four different diameters – ideal for universal use in manufacturing.
One tool, many possibilities: The EASYTap is a true jack-of-all-trades and excels in a variety of machining tasks – regardless of hole type, material, or thread type. It combines performance, quality, functionality, and cost-effectiveness in one tool, providing a decisive competitive advantage.
Fourfold strong: Universality as a Quartet
The new tool set includes four different diameters – M6, M8, M10, and M12 – providing a practical assembly for various applications. The set solution reduces acquisition costs compared to individual purchases and simultaneously ensures optimized stocking in the production process. Two versions are available – a tool quartet for standard threads and a tool quartet for through threads.
Process-safe Tapping in Every Material
The EASYTap was developed with the central challenges of thread manufacturing in mind and is characterized by perfect chip removal, long tool life, a wide range of applications, and maximum process safety. It produces gauge-holding threads up to 3xD and can be used in almost all materials – whether steel, stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum.
Optimized Chip Formation, Low Wear, Best Tool Life
Made from high-quality HSS-E material and finished with a proven TiN coating, the EASYTap ensures maximum precision and durability. A newly developed cutting geometry, optimized flutes, and a helix angle of 45° ensure stable and efficient chip formation without chip wrappings. The even and low torque positively affects tool life.
High Performance Meets Maximum Cost-Effectiveness
With the EASYTap, LMT Tools has established a true multi-talent for process-safe thread manufacturing in blind and through holes. Users benefit from excellent thread quality, fast processing times, reduced tool changes, and low costs per part. The new tool set consolidates these strengths and adds additional flexibility as well as a particularly economical solution for universal use.
