The new generation is modular and can be equipped with up to 4 turrets, as well as up to two Y-axes arranged above in the working area.
This means that under the model designation TTS85 or TTS125, SPINNER sets new standards with the variants of two, three, or four turrets for simultaneous machining in the chuck or bar passage in motor spindles of 85 or 125mm. The series is alternatively available with two powerful motor spindles up to 85mm or 125mm bar capacity. These motor spindles can be freely chosen for the main and counter spindle. Additionally, flexibly usable tailstocks are possible, which can optionally be moved in two CNC axes each. This allows for quick and precise use from a protected parking position. For the highest change accuracy and high cutting performance, SPINNER offers the tool holders BMT45 or BMT65.
The 'Duplex' variant is equipped with two diagonal turrets in the working area, while the 'TWIN' variant features two upper turrets each with a Y-axis of ±100mm and a lower tailstock on a CNC cross slide.
In the TTS model series, the bed variants with 1,500mm or 2,100mm center distance between the spindles are also freely selectable. The 90-degree design of the slant bed and a machine weight of approximately 20 tons allow for heavy machining with high chip volume on one hand, while the slant bed ensures optimal chip fall on the other.
The latest control generation from Siemens Sinumerik ONE with a 24" touch screen and Fanuc 31iTB-PLUS 15" is offered at a movable panel.
