QUICKPENTA is ISCAR's new all-round system for machining on long lathes, multi-spindle machines, and production lathes. Its Safe-Lock clamping with stabilization surfaces and grooves ensures a bomb-proof fit of the five-edged inserts. The user benefits from high process reliability and top surface quality.
Precise cooling additionally supports this. In the QUICKPENTA, internal coolant channels direct the coolant precisely to the cutting zone. This improves tool life and optimizes chip evacuation. User-friendliness is also not neglected: thanks to intelligent locking, the user can quickly and easily change the cutting edge. Loosen the screw, rotate the PENTA cutting insert, tighten the screw – done. Re-measuring after changing the cutting edge is no longer necessary. This reduces setup time to almost zero.
The precision-ground five-edged inserts in cutting widths from 0.5 to three millimeters are particularly suitable for process-safe use up to a maximum depth of cut of 6.2 millimeters. Different geometries are available for parting, plunging, turning, back turning, and threading. The new QUICKPENTA cutting inserts are designed for left and right tools and can also be mounted on conventional PENTA tool holders.
