The technique, which is supported by machining strategies as well as in simulation, enables scratch-free surface qualities. It is suitable, for example, for sealing surfaces in battery manufacturing. Extensions of the hyperMILL TURNING Solutions will also be presented at AMB, which facilitate the programming of turning programs and ensure support for new, complex turret types during collision checking.
Function package deburring

Deburring in hard-to-reach places often involves a high effort for manual reworking. With three efficient strategies for drilling brushing, drilling deburring, and deburring of component edges, hyperMILL offers a comprehensive solution. All strategies can be executed as both 3-axis and 5-axis machining, ensuring burr-free component edges directly on the machine.

Under the term hyperMILL INTELLIGENCE, OPEN MIND presents its concept of meaningfully combining human expertise, smart automation, digital optimization, and artificial intelligence. In CAM programming, rule-based automation, proven logic, and the availability of company-specific knowledge deliver consistent, transparent results. OPEN MIND additionally utilizes AI to analyze data, recognize patterns, and make existing expertise usable more quickly.
Tool management in MES and CAM
The modular Hummingbird-MES consists of four main components: planning and control, machine data collection (MDE), CAM/CNC integration, and tool logistics. Through the perfect integration of the CAD/CAM suite and the MES from OPEN MIND, tool management also offers special advantages. A centralized tool management saves money and facilitates work through company-wide availability of tool data.
