Mobile lifting without cables and without compressed air: With the new vacuum lifter Gripster max, Schmalz is launching a battery-operated vacuum lifter for the first time. The handheld power tool accelerates the suction process by a factor of four, shows the theoretical load capacity in kilograms, increases process safety through clear warning signals, and makes unwieldy workpieces literally graspable.
With the new vacuum lifter Gripster max, Schmalz expands its portfolio to include a handheld device for the safe and ergonomic lifting and positioning of various workpieces made of glass, wood, metal, drywall, as well as ceramic and stone tiles. A battery-operated pump provides the necessary vacuum. This allows the vacuum lifter Gripster max to operate independently of external compressed air or stationary systems.
The central advantage lies in the speed. The vacuum lifter Gripster max picks up components up to four times faster than comparable devices. Users not only shorten cycle times. One person is sufficient to move large, bulky components. This increases efficiency and eliminates waiting times.
Ergonomics and safety in focus
Thanks to the ergonomically shaped handle, employees can move even unwieldy components. They can also lift workpieces in a composite without having to grip in joints or use special tools. This protects the material and reduces breakage. As a handheld power tool, the vacuum lifter Gripster max brings vacuum technology where flexibility, speed, and safety matter. It complements stationary systems like the vacuum lifting device VacuMaster, which is designed for heavier loads and industrial overall systems.
One button, clear signals, safe processes

The one-button control simplifies operation, accelerates the placing of workpieces, and reduces errors. Visual and acoustic warning signals inform about the system status and increase process safety. The integrated suction plate detection on the display not only shows the vacuum but also the theoretical load capacity in kilograms. A simple system check identifies possible sources of error, supports quick repairs, and reduces downtime.
Basic, Eco, Fast: Vacuum as needed
Three programs adapt the device to the tasks: In Basic mode, the system regulates to a higher vacuum and achieves a holding force of up to 120 kilograms horizontally and 60 kilograms vertically. In Eco mode, the vacuum lifter Gripster max operates at a relative vacuum that is nearly half as high, evacuates in under two seconds, and saves energy. The Fast mode allows for suction simply by pressing against the workpiece. Placing is possible by double-clicking the start-stop button.
Flexible thanks to quick change and battery alliance

The tool-free quick-change system allows for the exchange of suction plates and accessories with just a few hand movements. Users can easily adapt the vacuum lifter Gripster max to various applications. The vacuum lifter operates wirelessly with a battery from the CAS Alliance (Cordless Alliance System). Therefore, users can utilize existing 18-volt CAS batteries.
This saves investment costs, simplifies energy management, and strengthens sustainability. Multiple Gripster max vacuum lifters can be connected via cables and centrally controlled to comfortably move larger formats.
With the vacuum lifter Gripster max, Schmalz emphasizes its commitment to providing ergonomic handling devices for every application. After all, ergonomics is not only a health aspect but also makes a significant contribution to productivity. In addition to hose lifters, rope balancers, and exoskeletons, Schmalz can now also achieve this with the newest and smallest addition to the portfolio, the vacuum lifter Gripster max.
