The compact devices from Absolent combine low vibration and lightweight design with plug-and-play installation and are designed for use on modern machine tools and machining centers.

The AW series is designed to meet the challenges of high-precision and micro-machining. Manufacturing companies looking to avoid unplanned production downtimes due to oil mist deposits and reduce their maintenance costs through extended maintenance intervals for their machine tools will find the right solution for every machine, according to Absolent. At the same time, clean and healthy air in the manufacturing environment increases workplace safety while the risk of health burdens for machine operators is demonstrably reduced.

"With four connection options and their compact design, our AW oil mist separators are designed for modern manufacturing environments where uptime, precision, and energy efficiency are critical," emphasizes Hartmut Enderle, Sales Manager at Absolent.

Despite their compact design and small footprint, the oil separators have a high filtration performance with airflows of up to 800 m³/h and particle loads of up to 30 mg/m³. Each unit is factory calibrated with five selectable airflow levels, allowing the capacity to be easily adjusted to the specific machining on the machine tool.

Intelligent energy efficiency for constant filtration

A central feature of the AW series is the EcoDrive system. This technology monitors the airflow in real-time and automatically adjusts the speed of the filter motor to the actual demand. This keeps the volume flow always in the optimal range – regardless of fluctuations in the production process or filter loading. According to Absolent, this not only reduces energy consumption by up to 40 percent but also increases operational safety and extends the lifespan of the components.

"Our EcoDrive technology significantly contributes to sustainably reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)," says Hartmut Enderle from experience.

Automatic oil return for less maintenance

In addition, the devices are equipped with Absolent's proprietary and patented Catch&Release technology. This innovative fiber layer filtration allows for the automatic return of the separated oil, effectively emptying the filter by itself. This keeps the separation performance constant, extends the filter life, and significantly reduces maintenance effort.
