Hölzl knows the industry and the company very well. As an industrial engineer in mechanical engineering, he started his career in assembly and brings many years of experience in international sales: For ten years, he was responsible at HURCO as Sales Director for the export markets in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in Spain, Portugal, and Turkey, before joining the management last year.

“In the past twelve months, Michael Auer has shared his long-standing expertise with me and has perfectly accompanied me on my way to sole responsibility,” Hölzl thanks his predecessor. The new managing director fundamentally relies on a collegial leadership style. He sees this as a prerequisite for a corporate culture that always places customer satisfaction at the center. In this context, he also considers the optimal use of machine potential through practical automation solutions for small series to be a key factor. “We see ourselves as a partner that flexibly supports contract manufacturers in their daily operations. This is the strength of our brands HURCO and TAKUMI. Therefore, we look forward to the coming year with confidence, even if the framework conditions will remain challenging,” emphasizes Nikolaus Hölzl.
