Yamazaki Mazak recorded high customer interest in its new manufacturing technologies at EMO 2025 and looks back on a successful trade fair.
In particular, numerous qualified inquiries came from the supplier market. Mazak impressed with its trade fair concept: a combination of product innovations, automation, digital integration, and intelligent solutions for optimizing production processes.

The company emphasized its global manufacturing strategy 'close to the customer' by presenting machines from its international production network – including plants in the EU, Japan, Singapore, India, and China. This demonstrated Mazak's ability to offer locally tailored solutions in key markets while ensuring the highest quality standards.

Particular interest was shown in the 20 exhibited machines, especially the entry-level models and productivity-enhancing solutions – including the next generation of the popular 5-axis machining center CV5 developed and manufactured in the UK.

A highlight was the premiere of the INTEGREX j-200S NEO – the first INTEGREX multi-tasking machining center produced outside Japan.

Manufacturing now takes place at the European plant in Worcester (UK) and exemplifies Mazak's commitment to reducing delivery times for cutting-edge technology in the European market.

Other product innovations included the new VC-Ez IP series of vertical machining centers with 40 taper spindle. These machines offer attractive potential for rapid payback in high-volume applications through powerful spindle technology, high feeds, and intuitive control.

Overall, Mazak presented twelve automation solutions at its EMO booth. Among them was the European premiere of the Ez LOADER 125i, integrated with an INTEGREX i-450H.

As the first model of the Ez LOADER series with a fully integrated industrial robot, the entire cell can be operated via the machine control – eliminating the need for separate training for robot programming.

Industry-specific applications were also showcased, such as the vertical machining center FF-400V/30L, which manufactured components for the e-mobility market live. Additionally, Mazak presented the special machine for gear machining – the INTEGREX i-350 NEO AG – as the first model of a new INTEGREX i-NEO series aimed at increasing productivity and reducing emissions.

A central component of the trade fair booth was the new Mazak Solutions Center – an innovation hub for the latest developments in technology, connectivity, digitalization, and MAZATROL Smooth CNC. Among other things, MAZATROL DX was introduced, a digital tool for quick quote generation based on machining time and piece costs, as well as for optimizing cycle times and material usage.

Richard Smith, European Group Managing Director at Yamazaki Mazak, summarizes:
"EMO 2025 was a great success for Mazak. In addition to numerous inquiries, it was particularly valuable to engage with customers in the new Solutions Center, understand their challenges, and develop solutions together. The trade fair clearly demonstrated the importance of being present in the market with accessible, turnkey solutions – solutions that empower customers and enable immediate gains in productivity and profitability. Our goal is to support customers in becoming more productive, resilient, and competitive – and the success at EMO 2025 impressively confirms this approach."
