The Inovance booth at SPS 2025 showcased its Total Automation Solution, including the complete automation line of AC drives, servos, motion, and HMIs to industrial robots, CNC, and related software. The wireless real-time servo control will soon be added to the portfolio.
The industrial automation specialist Inovance presented the first European preview of its versatile new real-time servo control INO AIR with wireless technology to visitors at SPS 2025. The Inovance booth at Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg, Germany, also featured demonstrations of Inovance's Total Automation Solution in action, covering the entire spectrum of connected industrial automation technologies.
Highlights of the Inovance booth: innovative and connected solutions
Inovance highlighted the benefits of its Total Automation Solution, including versatility, compatibility, and connectivity. The solution covers the entire automation line – from AC drives, servos, PLCs, and motion controllers to HMIs, I/Os, CNCs, industrial robots, and related software – and combines products into holistic solutions that solve even the most complex challenges of industrial automation.
With its European premiere at SPS, the wireless INO AIR solution is ideal for cabinet-free advanced automation applications with integrated drive servomotors as well as for those with servomotors mounted on rotating parts. It offers synchronization in the microsecond range and over 99.99% reliability for smooth, precise, and repeatable operation. The integrated wireless communication bus allows maximum flexibility as well as easy installation and diagnostics.
The real-time servo control of INO AIR with wireless technology significantly reduces the overall installation costs of machines as fewer components and less labor are required – especially because the need for complex control wiring between servos and adjacent controllers is greatly reduced. The EtherCAT-compatible technology has already been successfully used in wireless labeling applications, eliminating hundreds of meters of cable with a bus cycle time of 1 ms over 100 m and 1 µs jitter.
The SPS booth of Inovance also showcased the new compact and efficient MD630 AC drive, which offers high performance, versatile communication options, and reliability in a compact design.
Additionally, the advanced single-channel servo drive SV680N with Fail Safe over EtherCAT (FSoE) and the corresponding MS1 servomotor with battery-less encoder were presented. There was also a demo of a robotic arm from Inovance. Two display walls showcased Inovance Total Automation Solutions with PROFINET and EtherCAT connectivity.
