Less downtime, more machine runtime – that is what HURCO aims to achieve with its integrated ProCobots solutions. The machine manufacturer brings automation to the machine – without significant effort and economically even with small batch sizes. Whether 3-axis or 5-axis machining: The handling system from ProCobots reliably takes care of loading HURCO machines – even overnight.
At EMO 2025, HURCO presented the new ProFeeder EasyDesk 30. The compact loading solution handles parts with a payload of up to 30 kilograms. Management and programming of the jobs are done directly via the Job Manager at the machine. Setting up multiple jobs simultaneously and an individual distribution of components within the grid plate are possible. Switching to new workpieces is also accomplished in the shortest time and without external programming. The safety of the operators is also ensured: The ProFeeder EasyDesk 30 comes standard with a separation screen and floor scanner. This allows the robot to be used during operation – without an additional safety fence system.
In addition to the new EasyDesk 30, HURCO offers further solutions for flexible automation with the ProFeeder Cart and the ProFeeder Tray. Whether with a parts cart or a spacious work table – all systems are designed for quick changeovers and equipped with the robotic arm from Universal Robots. The direct integration into the WinMax control system significantly simplifies setup and operation – ideal for quick changes in the workshop routine. 'Our customers report payback times of under a year – thanks to less machine downtime and higher utilization,' reports HURCO Managing Director Klaus Hölzl, adding: 'Those who mill or turn for 11 hours a day can achieve up to 120,000 euros in additional revenue per year.
