With the milling system XMR13, ZCC Cutting Tools Europe presents an innovative solution for high-feed machining that handles even complex machining processes reliably and efficiently. The new product combines an extremely robust construction with a well-thought-out cutting insert design and optimally coordinated grades and chip breakers.

The new high-feed milling system XMR13 presented at EMO 2025 is suitable for both series production and flexible single-part machining. Thanks to extremely high feed rates, large material volumes can be economically removed in the shortest time. With a diameter range of 50 mm to 160 mm, the system opens up a wide range of applications. The cutting insert size and the angle of the milling cutter allow for an effective cutting depth (ap) of up to 2 mm.

Highly productive and economical

The indexable cutting inserts with eight usable edges enable maximum machining performance while extending tool life. The negative insert geometry allows for high feed rates while maintaining stable cutting action – ideal for rough machining of steel, tool steel, and cast iron.

The newly developed 3D-convex cutting edge ensures even chip flow and reduces vibrations during the milling process. Additionally, a finely tuned selection of chip breakers and grades is available to ensure controlled chip management and reliable chip removal even under demanding cutting conditions.
