HELLER acquisition awaits approval
On August 26, 2025, DN Solutions signed an agreement in Nürtingen to acquire 100 percent of the shares of the HELLER Group. The transaction is still subject to regulatory approval. Together, both companies are expected to achieve an annual revenue of around 2 billion euros.
CEO Kim affirmed at EMO in Hannover that DN Solutions will honor all customer contracts from HELLER and ensure local customer support. He also confirmed that the management team and top talents from HELLER will be retained, thereby preserving the technical expertise and customer trust built over more than 130 years.
'The tradition, the management philosophy, and the technological excellence that HELLER has built will continue to be a central part,' said Kim. 'DN Solutions and HELLER will act as one unit and will enter into even stronger partnerships in the German and European industry together.'
Strengthening European manufacturing
With the acquisition of HELLER, DN Solutions aims to strengthen the German machine tool sector and provide European customers with a comprehensive complete solution. Both companies will leverage the stronger financial base and global economies of scale to build a more resilient supply chain and implement modern IT technologies for intelligent machine tools. These efforts are intended to enhance the competitiveness of DN Solutions' European manufacturing and provide added value to customers.
