Mikron changes the group management

Mikron appoints Philip Kraus as the head of the Mikron Automation division effective January 1, 2026.

Rolf Rihs, currently head of the Mikron Automation division, will relinquish his current roles on December 31, 2025. He will then take on a new role as Senior Advisor at the group level. In the future, all division heads will be represented in the Mikron group management.

Philip Kraus will join the Mikron Group on October 1, 2025, and from
January 1, 2026, will take over the leadership of the Mikron Automation division. He has many years of
international leadership experience in the industry and was most recently managing director of BBS Automation plants in Slovakia and Germany. Philip Kraus holds
master's degrees in mechanical engineering, business administration, and economics.

Division heads of Mikron Machining and Mikron Tool will be part of the group management.

Matteo Castiglioni, who has been with Mikron for 10 years, has been leading the Mikron Machining division since 2023.
Under his leadership, Mikron Machining has consistently implemented its strategic focus on
round table machines, restored profitability, and opened up new markets.

Elio Lupica, who has been with Mikron for 27 years, took over the leadership of the Mikron Tool division in 2023.
Under his leadership, Mikron Tool has further expanded its global presence and developed innovative
tools for difficult-to-machine materials.

The 62-year-old Rolf Rihs will step down from his previous roles at the end of December 2025
and will take on the new role of Senior Advisor at the group level. Rolf Rihs has been a prominent member of the Mikron group management for over two decades and successfully led the Mikron Automation division. Under his leadership, Mikron Automation solidified its technological leadership, and the division became an important growth driver for the group. In his new role as Senior Advisor, Rolf Rihs will lead strategic projects across the group in the future.

From January 1, 2026, the Mikron group management will be composed as follows:

Marc Desrayaud (CEO), Philippe Wirth (CFO), Philip Kraus, Matteo Castiglioni, and Elio Lupica.
