In close coordination with its customers, Bosch Rexroth has further developed the intelligent compact unit CytroPac. The new generation opens up a broader range of applications through optional functional modules. Integrated sensors and networking options simplify monitoring for maximum system availability. Additionally, the plug-and-play solution features a new cover with a status display. The optimized motor-pump combination increases energy efficiency.
The CytroPac compact unit from Bosch Rexroth combines high power density with energy efficiency and user comfort. To better meet market demands, Bosch Rexroth has further developed the new generation of the intelligent compact unit based on customer feedback.
For example, the interchangeable functional modules increase flexibility in practice: In addition to the filter module for cleaning the return flow, the CytroPac can also be ordered with a leak oil module, which returns larger volume flows nearly pressure-free and significantly reduces air entry. As another option, Bosch Rexroth offers a valve module for the installation of control blocks. This allows hydraulic control functions to be quickly and easily realized through intermediate plates. Due to its modular design, the second generation of the compact unit is ideal for machine tools, plastic injection molding, and similar applications. A UL-certified variant is available for the North American market, which meets the safety requirements of Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
Among the technical innovations is an improved heat exchange through a special aluminum cooling plate. The integrated frequency converter often eliminates the need for a control cabinet, greatly simplifying engineering. The integrated motor-pump combination has also been optimized: Compared to conventional small units of the same power, up to 80 percent of energy demand can be saved while operating significantly quieter.
New in the area of connectivity is an MQ15 Ethernet connection for data exchange, and the M12 power connection is now standard. Thanks to integrated sensors, temperature and fill level values can be continuously read via fieldbus for enhanced monitoring. The intelligent maintenance solution CytroConnect Solutions increases availability on demand through real-time monitoring, data-based analyses, or predictive maintenance.
The operating concept with a commissioning wizard for quick commissioning has been expanded with a new cover featuring an optionally integrated HMI for status display. This enhances the user comfort of the pre-assembled and tested plug-and-play solution.
