Material savings thanks to extremely narrow indexable inserts (WSP) and a clean cut during high-precision turning and facing on long lathes make the double-edged QUICK2CUT the scalpel for machinists.

ISCAR presents the QUICK2CUT for turning and facing miniature components on long lathes. Thanks to the double-sided, tangentially clamped WSP with cutting widths between 0.33 and two millimeters, users can turn and face workpieces with diameters up to twelve millimeters in a resource-efficient and highly precise manner.

The particularly sharp edges, the positive cutting angle, and the robust and secure V-shaped clamping with complete base support ensure a clean, stable, and smooth cut with high repeat accuracy. It stabilizes the tool and reduces the forces occurring. The WSP is user-friendly and securely clamped with just one screw. This facilitates tool changes and reduces setup time.

The complete QUICK2CUT cutting insert range can be clamped on the same tool holder. These are available in shank sizes of ten, twelve, and sixteen millimeters and feature an internal coolant supply that transports the coolant precisely to the cutting zone. This facilitates chip removal, increases the tool life, and improves surface quality.
