With great dismay, BIG KAISER Precision Tools AG announces that its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Reto Adam, has unexpectedly passed away.
Reto Adam joined the company in 2015 as Chief Operating Officer and took over the position of CEO on February 1, 2019. In this role, he significantly shaped the strategic development of today's BIG KAISER Precision Tools AG and led the company through profound restructuring and growth phases.
His leadership was characterized by pronounced technical understanding, entrepreneurial clarity, and a results-oriented management style. Within the company, he was regarded as a highly valued personality – known for his reliability, precision, and constructive communication style. Colleagues described him as solution-oriented, approachable, and deeply interested in communal progress.
Key milestones of his tenure include the expansion of the technology center at the Rümlang location, the introduction of a company-wide ERP system, and the successful integration of European activities into the global structure of the BIG DAISHOWA Group. Reto Adam was a driving force for innovation, digitalization, and efficiency – both in production and administration.
The Board of Directors of BIG KAISER Precision Tools AG has taken initial measures to ensure operational continuity. Further information regarding future corporate leadership will follow in due course.
