This year, a product from the GARANT brand has won an award at the prestigious Red Dot Award. The 43-member international expert jury awarded the GARANT Electronic Torque Screwdriver HCT in the Tools category. Applicants from 60 nations participated in the competition. The coveted quality seal is awarded in 51 classic categories for industrially manufactured products with the best concepts.

The GARANT Electronic Torque Screwdriver HCT impressed with its thoughtful design, intuitive operation, and ergonomic handling. The product stands out due to its lightweight, 360° rotatable display, and optical, acoustic, and haptic measurement signaling (color display, LED ring, vibration of the handle). At the same time, the tool features Bluetooth® wireless technology and various functions for screwing, storing, and easy documentation of screw cases – all with the highest precision. The cumbersome and error-prone manual transfer of measurement values is eliminated.

The digital connectivity of the GARANT Electronic Torque Screwdriver HCT is particularly innovative. HCT stands for Hoffmann Group Connected Tools and is a modern platform for the digitization of measurement processes. Via Bluetooth, measurement data is automatically transferred to smartphones, tablets, or computers, making workflows significantly more efficient. This allows the connectivity of the GARANT Electronic Torque Screwdriver to other HCT products and is also reflected in a unified UX design.

Products from the GARANT brand have already been awarded over 60 awards in recent years for their functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically pleasing design.

Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025

Product Design is one of the most significant international design competitions. Since 1955, it has recognized products that impress with particularly high design quality. The independent Red Dot jury evaluates all submissions based on four fundamental principles of good design: the quality of function, the quality of appearance, the quality of use, and the quality of responsibility. In 2025, it consists of 43 experts from 21 countries – including designers, professors, journalists, and consultants from various disciplines. The submissions came from over 60 countries and were carefully reviewed and discussed by the jury.
