As of June 1, 2025, the previous limited partnership will be converted into an SE & Co. KG and will operate under the name MAPAL Dr. Kress SE & Co. KG.
With the new legal form, MAPAL is creating the foundation for a modern and future-proof corporate structure. The rebranding is a significant step towards the strategic development of the corporate group and addresses the increasing complexity in the market environment, the growing international customer base, and the demands for more efficient decision-making processes.

KG as the new legal form,” emphasizes Dr. Jochen Kress, who will continue to lead the company as the managing director. “The new structure simplifies the management and leadership of the company and strengthens corporate responsibility within the leadership team. I would like to emphasize at this point that this organizational development does not change the ownership structure of MAPAL: We are and remain a family business.”
No impact on business relationships and employment conditions
For customers, suppliers, and partners, the day-to-day business remains unaffected by the rebranding. The rebranding also has no impact on the employees. Dr. Jochen Kress: “Our success is based on the trusting and long-term collaboration with our employees, customers, suppliers, and partners. Even in the new structure, these relationships remain the foundation of our actions. We look forward to shaping the next steps together.”
