With the expansion of its portfolio, BIG DAISHOWA is developing a comprehensive offering based on the HSK-EZ15 interface. The first products of this new series are high-precision tool holders as well as an innovative assembly device and a highly precise Dyna-Test test mandrel.
BIG DAISHOWA works closely with leading machine tool manufacturers to integrate the HSK-EZ15 interface into their micro-machining systems. Companies such as CHIRON, Precitrame, Citizen, Tornos, and Enoveas are already relying on the HSK-EZ15 interface.
The most compact HSK interface for ultra-precise applications
HSK-EZ15 is currently the smallest available HSK interface and has been specifically developed for industries that require the highest precision and efficiency, including the watch and jewelry industry as well as medical and dental technology.
New tool solutions for HSK-EZ15
- HSK-EZ15 MEGA Micro Chuck collet holder: This new collet holder is based on the smallest HSK interface and is available in lengths from 18 to 30 mm and in sizes MEGA3S to MEGA6S. It offers precise clamping performance for shank diameters from 0.45 mm to 6.05 mm. The guaranteed maximum runout is 3 µm at 4xD clamping length, making the system the optimal solution for modern micro-machining machines with HSK-EZ15 interface.

- Dyna Test HSK-EZ15: A highly precise test mandrel for checking spindle runout and ensuring optimal machine performance. BIG DAISHOWA's proven Dyna-Test technology is characterized by outstanding accuracy in terms of runout, cylindricity, and roundness. The HSK-EZ15 version guarantees these quality standards and provides a reliable solution for ensuring precision in micro-machining.
- Kombi Grip HSK-EZ15:This innovative vertical assembly station allows for effortless assembly and disassembly of micro-tools. The conical roller pin system securely fixes the HSK-EZ15 tool, significantly reducing the effort required to insert and remove the tool. This greatly improves ergonomics and efficiency during tool changes.
Live demonstrations at Intec 2025
From March 11 to 14, 2025, visitors to Intec Leipzig can experience the latest innovations from BIG DAISHOWA for micro-machining in Hall 3 B31. A CHIRON Micro5 machine, equipped with BIG DAISHOWA's MEGA Micro Chuck, will demonstrate precise high-speed machining. Intec is a leading trade fair for machine tools, manufacturing technology, and automation, making it a central meeting point for the European metalworking industry.
