With the Zubora and Multicut product lines, Zeller+Gmelin demonstrates how modern water-miscible coolants (KSS) and cutting oils further enhance efficiency and sustainability in metalworking. One example is the fully synthetic KSS Zubora TTS PF, which is completely free of pictograms. This not only brings advantages in terms of occupational safety and storage but also meets the highest standards for health and environmental protection. 'Our Zubora products combine sustainability with high performance,' explains Dr. Irene Kreitmeir, product manager for lubricants at Zeller+Gmelin.
Multicut cutting oils for non-ferrous metal processing

In the area of cutting oils, Zeller+Gmelin presents Multicut products specifically developed for the demanding processing of non-ferrous metals. The products include Multicut Grind HP 15 NF and Multicut Plus 10 NF, which provide the best conditions for high tool life and precise results. The special formulations of the cutting oils, including modern base oils designed for low consumption such as hydrocrack and ester oils, emphasize their sustainable orientation.
The Multicut Grind HP 15 NF has been specifically developed for cylindrical and profile grinding and is ideally suited for use in grinding machines where, for example, parts made of copper or brass are installed due to its compatibility with non-ferrous metals. The portfolio is complemented by the Multicut FSE HSC 15 NF for the most precise high-speed machining, the Multicut Basic HP 15 Extra NF for demanding machining tasks, and the Multicut Plus 10 NF, a versatile cutting oil for medium-duty applications.
Digitalization in focus: ZG Fluid-Check Pro
In addition to lubricant innovations, Zeller+Gmelin also focuses on the topic of Industry 4.0. With the ZG Fluid-Check Pro developed in collaboration with HYDAC, the company presents an intelligent fluid management system that enables automated monitoring and control of coolant lubricants.
"With our smart coolant monitoring system, manufacturing companies can increase their operational efficiency and minimize production downtimes," explains Thorsten Wechmann, Strategic Business Unit Manager at Zeller+Gmelin. The system measures parameters such as concentration, pH value, and temperature in real time and automatically ensures efficient lubricant monitoring.
By integrating ZG Fluid-Check Pro into existing manufacturing processes, Zeller+Gmelin makes an important contribution to the implementation of the smart factory. The system not only optimizes the downtime of coolants but also reduces resource consumption and environmental impact.
Dr. Irene Kreitmeir concludes: 'Intec offers an excellent opportunity to present our latest developments and engage in discussions with industry professionals from the metalworking sector. We look forward to showcasing our solutions on-site and entering into dialogue with our customers and interested parties.'
