Component manufacturers in key industries such as medical technology, automotive, and mechanical engineering benefit from innovative and customized turning technology that combines efficiency, sustainability, and profitability. Citizen Machinery Europe sets benchmarks here and presents itself as a reliable partner for the highest manufacturing demands. At leading trade fairs for metalworking, such as this year's INTEC in Leipzig, the turning specialists from Esslingen showcase their high-performance technology. The focus is on Hall 3, Stand D08/E07, featuring the Cincom L20-XII B5 ATC – a true 'jack of all trades'. With this model, Citizen sets new standards in productivity, precision, and efficiency.
Cincom L20 – the machine stands like no other for the history of the Cincom brand and has been made fit for current and future turning and manufacturing challenges with three new modular models. Markus Reiβig, Managing Director of Citizen Machinery Europe GmbH: 'From the 5-axis machine with a very good price-performance ratio to the high-end model with B-axis and a Y-axis movable in the counter spindle: The machine concept of the Cincom L20 stands for incomparable versatility. Manufacturers can choose from various vertical holders, drilling holders for front and back processing with and without driven tools to configure the machine for their respective requirements.'
With the Citizen Cincom L20-XII B5 ATC, Citizen showcases a top model of the machine series at INTEC: Turning, drilling, milling – until now, the production of complex medical products from difficult-to-machine materials was diverse and previously only costly to solve – with the versatile long-turning machine, all operations can now be performed in one machine. A swiveling B-axis, a Y-axis movable in the counter spindle, LFV technology for chip break control, 5-axis simultaneous milling, and Automatic Tool Changer ATC are just some of the design features that make the Cincom L20-XII B5 ATC so powerful without compromising on quality.
Power, stability, and µm precision in heavy machining: In the area of short turning, the Miyano BNE65-MYY will be a special topic. The double Y-axis – each on the upper and lower 12-station turret – offers great flexibility in tool selection and allows for better process division. The result: short cycle times for higher productivity. Thanks to the touch control of the HMI interface, operation is also child's play.
Markus Reiβig: 'In combination with other Citizen technologies such as the control software for Industry 4.0, LFV technology for chip break control, integrated laser technology, the automatic tool changer ATC, as well as our self-developed robot cells for automation, customer-specific system configurations 'Everything from one source' are created. With them, component manufacturers can also produce profitably in times of difficult conditions.'
