With its multifunctional, jet-cooled inserts, ISCAR's PICCO system offers the right tool for every application – for turning, grooving, threading, chamfering, form turning, and axial grooving. With the system, the tool specialist provides the user with all common geometries of cutting inserts for a wide range of internal machining. The PICCO3CUT now expands the ISCAR system with three-edged cutting inserts for internal turning and chamfering.
The PICCO3CUT is available in diameters between three and seven millimeters. Its targeted cooling at all cutting edges minimizes wear, increases tool life, improves surface quality, and facilitates chip removal. Thanks to its modular design, quick and easy insert changes are possible.
The indexable insert tool PICCOINDEX is versatile. The different ISO-WSP are suitable, for example, for roughing and finishing small components. PICCOINDEX is available in diameters from 4.5 to six millimeters and features internal channels for targeted cooling.
The WSP and cutting inserts of the PICCO system are made from the TiAlN-PVD-coated fine grain type IC908. For great stability and high precision, ISCAR has equipped the cutting inserts with a longer clamping surface.
