VARGUS Germany and the Portuguese tool manufacturer PALBIT are working
officially together in the German market. Since July 1, 2026, VARGUS Deutschland GmbH can offer and distribute the product range of PALBIT in Germany. The cooperation is another step in the strategic development of VARGUS from a recognized thread specialist to a provider of a broader range of high-performance machining solutions.
VARGUS is one of the developers and manufacturers of precision tools worldwide and is particularly well positioned technologically in the field of thread machining. With VARDEX, VARGUS offers a market-leading program for thread turning and thread milling as well as solutions for thread drilling, thread whirling and
gear milling. The product lines GROOVEX and SHAVIV complement the portfolio with parting and grooving, turning, micro-machining, and professional deburring. With innovative solutions like MACH TT and MACH TM, VARGUS also focuses on productivity increases in thread machining.
With PALBIT, VARGUS Germany specifically expands this strong core portfolio with additional solutions for chip removal manufacturing. PALBIT is a European manufacturer with production in Portugal and has a wide range of products for ISO turning, milling, drilling, parting and grooving, thread machining,
ceramic tools, and tool holders. Additionally, there are solid carbide tools, PCBN and PKD solutions, as well as complete application-specific tool concepts.
This ensures that VARGUS's particular strength in thread machining remains clearly intact – at the same time, VARGUS Germany can now offer customers significantly more precision tools for the complete machining of components.
The addition of PALBIT particularly expands the possibilities in classical turning, milling, and drilling and strengthens VARGUS as a more comprehensive partner for machining.
For customers in Germany, the collaboration thus combines two clear advantages: the long-standing technological expertise and market position of VARGUS – especially in thread turning and thread milling – with the broad additional product range of PALBIT. Consulting, application technology, and support will continue to be provided by VARGUS Germany.
