The ROEMHELD Group from Laubach in Hesse is one of the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. For this, it receives the TOP 100 seal 2026 in the category of companies with more than two hundred employees.
ROEMHELD develops and manufactures components and solutions for industrial production. A focus is on clamping technology. This includes systems that help quickly change components or tools and securely hold them with defined forces. Components for the assembly and handling of parts and workpiece groups complement the range.
The TOP 100 seal is based on a scientific selection process with more than one hundred evaluation criteria. Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, innovation researcher at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and his team evaluate leadership, climate, processes, external orientation, and proven innovation success. The competition is organized by compamedia GmbH from Überlingen on Lake Constance.
Targeted investments
For ROEMHELD, the seal is both confirmation and motivation. 'Our products help to tackle challenges in the industry. Wherever the highest precision is required or where skilled workers are lacking and processes still need to run safely, we have our strengths,' says Julia Reichert, managing partner of the ROEMHELD Group. 'Our success is also based on the fact that we invest specifically in development. Because innovation power determines the future viability of a company today.'
Measurable benefits for industrial customers
In recent years, the corporate group has reorganized and consolidated structures and processes. A dedicated innovation team with direct access to management shortens paths and accelerates decisions.
'Our customers want precise and durable clamping and handling technology that helps automate processes and provide reliable data,' says Philipp Ehrhardt, also managing partner of the ROEMHELD Group. 'That's why we are further developing systems that combine process reliability with ease of use and collect information that provides measurable benefits.'
