HWR Clamping Technology has developed the new variant INOFlex VF-A from the INOLine product line primarily with a focus on automated workpiece change: The hydraulic operation enables a fast and precise change of workpieces, significantly increasing productivity, especially in automation operations.

The new clamping device INOFlex VF-A is a hydraulically operated 4-sided automation clamp. Its compensating mechanics make the INOFlex VF-A a flexible all-rounder for automation: Almost all part geometries can be covered with just one clamping device. The hydraulic operation allows for short times when changing components – resulting in higher productivity in automated operations.

Typical applications include stationary use on milling machines, clamping of round, square or rectangular as well as geometrically irregular components. INOFlex VF-A is also suitable for deformation-sensitive workpieces and achieves perfect, precise hold through internal and external clamping.

Three sizes available – INOFlex VF-A 021, 042, 070

Currently, three sizes are available, with chuck sizes of 220 mm, 420 mm, and 700 mm. The 4-jaw arrangement in a 90° division offers numerous combination possibilities: For example, two opposite jaws can be used as centering clamps, while the two unused jaws remain unused or can be removed.

Technical features at a glance:

  • Concentric compensating clamping with 4 jaws
  • Concentric clamping with 2 jaws
  • Clamping with fixed stop
  • Hydraulic operation
  • Pneumatic support control
  • Clamping control

In summary, the new INOFlex VF-A is a powerful all-rounder. It possesses the characteristic features of the clamping devices from HWR – user-friendly, durable, precise – and offers users high flexibility even for automated operations.
