At the Blechexpo taking place from October 21 to 24, 2025, in Stuttgart, the VDWF will be represented with a large joint stand. Whether classic toolmaking topics or sheet metal and forming technology – in Stuttgart, players from various fields of production technology will meet.

The International Trade Fair for Sheet Metal Processing takes place every two years at the Landesmesse Stuttgart – this year for the 17th time. With its joint stand, the VDWF sends a clear message: The association is where its members need it. 'Many companies in the industry not only work in classic tool and mold making but are also active in sheet metal processing and forming technology. So it is only consistent for us to show our presence at Blechexpo,' says VDWF Managing Director Ralf Dürrwächter.
Show community – with over 30 exhibitors

More than 30 toolmaking companies from the VDWF network will present themselves at the joint stand in Hall 4. They reflect the diversity of the industry and illustrate how closely the various fields are intertwined today: stamping and forming technology, automation, machining, and of course toolmaking – at Blechexpo, trade visitors will find what has long been working together in the industry. This creates the best conditions for making new contacts.
The VDWF also attracts attention around the exhibition hall: Just in time for Blechexpo, a new round of the campaign 'Think global, source local!' will be launched in Stuttgart, highlighting the innovative strength, reliability, and customer proximity of domestic toolmaking. 'We are already looking forward to numerous selfies posted by our members in front of the poster motifs on social media channels,' emphasizes Dürrwächter.
The industry meets even after the fair closes

Anyone wanting to reconnect with old industry friends over food and drink or meet new ones should not miss the stand party on Wednesday, the second day of the fair. The VDWF will celebrate together with visitors and friends from other exhibition halls, ending the trade fair day in a relaxed atmosphere.
For the VDWF and its members, Blechexpo offers the ideal platform to maintain existing networks and gain new impulses. With its large joint stand, the association once again underscores its closeness to the industry and the people working in it. All interested parties can convince themselves of this in October in Stuttgart.
Ralf Dürrwächter: 'Come visit us, challenge us and our co-exhibitors. We look forward to every contact – during the fair or at the stand party.'
