With three product innovations, ZCC Cutting Tools Europe is starting the innovation spring of 2025. The tool portfolio is continuously developed to meet market demands, and each new product is optimized for maximum efficiency and productivity.

For the tool manufacturer, tools and solution offerings for various tasks are the focus: The deep hole drilling series UL is designed for the highest precision in drilling. The high-feed milling cutter XMR12 ensures fast and productive milling processes, which are further supported by the indexable deburring milling cutter series QCH XM-2:

Deep hole drilling in tough materials poses significant challenges for users. Insufficient chip control and removal, high cutting forces, and inaccurate drilling results impair both productivity and tool life.

With a newly developed cutting edge design in the UL series from ZCC-CT Europe, cutting pressure is minimized, thereby reducing tool stress and extending tool life. An increased clearance angle allows for higher feeds and significantly contributes to increased productivity, while the improved chip breaking ensures controlled chip removal, thus enhancing process reliability. Four support phases ensure maximum precision, excellent guidance, and outstanding surface quality.

Thus, the UL series is an ideal solution for deep hole drilling. The new cutting material grade KDG305 offers excellent wear resistance and heat resistance, making it particularly attractive for demanding materials.

The UL series covers diameter ranges from 3.0 to 20.0 mm in lengths of 10xD, 20xD, and 30xD, making it flexible for various applications. The UL drills provide reliable, precise drilling results, top-notch surface quality, and lead to
an increase in productivity even in demanding deep hole drilling processes.

New high-feed milling cutter XMR12

For milling applications where the highest productivity is sought alongside precision, the high-feed milling system XMR12 is the most efficient and stable solution. Thanks to its wide range of applications, from face milling to grooving and ramping, it is particularly versatile.

Even in demanding applications, such as machining steel and cast materials, the XMR12 milling system performs excellently: The positive cutting geometry reduces cutting pressure and allows for low-vibration machining. This ensures excellent surface quality. Double-sided indexable inserts provide maximum economy and stability, while the closer pitch and large number of insert seats enable higher feeds and thus a high material removal rate.

The system is available as a shank, screw-on, and insert milling cutter and covers diameter ranges from 16 mm to 63 mm. Equipped with the powerful indexable inserts ENMX12-GM in the PV grade YBG205H, the innovation offers the highest reliability for various machining tasks. The use of the XMR12 high-feed milling cutter enables increased productivity, reduced machining times, and qualitatively excellent results.

During deburring, various obstacles can arise that negatively affect the machining process and the quality of the final product, such as rough cutting edges, inaccurate machining results, and a high degree of wear. Additionally, machining different contours and materials requires a high degree of flexibility to achieve precise results.

The QCH XM-2C series has been developed to best meet these challenges. With the patented Q interface, the product series offers perfect run-out and highest change accuracy, leading to consistently precise results. Versatile combination options to both countersink holes and deburr complex contours with the highest precision are an essential part of the solution offering.

With the cutting material grade KMG405 and its high-performance AlCrN PVD coating, which offers maximum wear resistance and tool stability, the deburring cutters are ideal for machining steel and cast iron. The program covers a diameter range of 10.0 to 16.0 mm and variants with 60°, 90°, and 120°, thus covering a wide range of applications. With the QCH XM-2C series, ZCC-CT Europe offers a precise and economical solution designed for the highest demands in deburring.
