On the occasion of the Technology Days 2024 in Chemnitz, Starrag publicly presented its new compact machining center Heckert H100 for the first time. With a pallet size of 1,000 mm, it will replace the previous 4-axis center Heckert HEC 1000.

With the new compact machines Heckert H50 to H100, Starrag continues the success story of the Heckert HEC series. The new machining centers offer maximum precision, power, and speed in minimal space, of course with the long-term quality typical of Heckert machines.
This also applies to the Heckert H100, which has a footprint of 8,900 mm x 4,600 mm and allows travel paths of 1,750 mm in the X-direction, 1,300 mm in the Y-direction, and 1,400 mm in the Z-direction. Optionally, the Y-axis can be extended to up to 1,400 mm and the Z-axis to up to 1,800 mm. The interference circle diameter is 2,000 mm.
The Heckert H100 is suitable for large and, with a loading mass of 4,000 kg, also for heavy parts that would otherwise have to be machined on a large machining center. In contrast, various savings can be realized. They start with the investment in the machine and continue with transport costs, the foundation, and the required installation area, all the way to the machining process.
The new compact machine Heckert H100 is better in many respects than its predecessor model HEC 1000. It is easier to automate, thanks to extended clamping hydraulics and simplified interfaces to pallet storage systems and robot cells. Better integration into the customer's infrastructure has also been achieved – with central connections for technological cold water, for cooling lubricant, and for data exchange. Additionally, there is a larger spindle selection and much more.
The new compact machining center Heckert H100 offers tailored solutions for highly productive machining, especially in the field of commercial vehicles and in high-precision mechanical engineering.
