The universal lathes of the TC series from SPINNER have so far set standards for the efficient machining of highly complex components. To make the precise and highly productive use even more flexible, the company has consistently further developed this series. The result is a universal lathe for medium-sized workpieces, especially for longer shaft-shaped workpieces.

In the standards of the new series, SPINNER continues to rely on proven components such as the rigid 16-station servo turret. Image: Spinner

With the model designation TC610L, the machine complements the range of universal lathes and offers a swing diameter of approx. 600mm with a turning length of up to 1,250mm. In addition to two spindle variants as modern motor spindles up to 65 or 85mm, a CNC-controlled tailstock is available, which can also follow the cutting process for optimal support of long slender shafts.

The tailstock can also be quickly moved using a ball screw. In the standards of the new series, SPINNER continues to rely on proven components such as CNC axes for the tailstock and the steady rest, the rigid 16-station servo turret, and the efficient motor spindles. Optional features include CNC clamping force adjustment, external tool measurement, a hard turning package for fine machining, and glass measuring standards for X1-axis/Z1-axis.

As controls, SPINNER offers the latest Siemens SINUMERIK ONE with a 24" and the Fanuc with a 15" touch screen.
