Visitors will be presented with all technologies as well as various automation options and their added value for the production of high-quality medical devices on November 12, 2019, starting at 9:30 AM.

The event will take place at the GF Machining Solutions location in Schorndorf and is aimed at tool and mold makers as well as manufacturers of instruments, implants, and other precision parts from the medical technology sector.

The program consists of exciting lectures and practical demonstrations. Prof. Azarhoushang, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Medical Technology and head of the Competence Center for Cutting Manufacturing KSF at Furtwangen University, will speak about subtractive and additive manufacturing processes in medical technology.

Application fields and advantages of additive manufacturing and laser texturing in medical technology are just as much a topic as the regulatory requirements for the production of medical devices. The program will be rounded off by the presence of selected partners.
