The company Erich Uhe is a family business founded in 1932. Mrs. Strathmann (née Uhe) and Mr. Strathmann Senior have been managing it since 1971 as managing partners.
For many years, we have been a supplier for both well-known industrial companies and medium-sized businesses with a wide range of tasks in development, prototype, fixture and testing device construction, as well as zero, preliminary and series production.
In production, 3 masters and 33 trained precision mechanics work in an area of 2000 m2. In the technical department, two graduate engineers and one technician are at your service.
With the help of our PPS system, both commercial and technical tasks are planned, executed, and monitored.
Our production program includes computer-aided milling, turning, drilling, punching (including aluminum up to 8 mm), welding, gluing, laser cutting, stamping, nibbling, bending, measuring, assembling (including pneumatics), etc.
At our CAD/CAM systems, we design, calculate, and program the NC controls in 2D and 3D. Customer data can be read and processed via email (info@uhe.de), ISDN (05101/925433), modem, or 3.5" floppy disk in IGES, VDAFS, DWG, and DXF format.
We have the following machines available:
1. For machining:
CNC lathes: Gildemeister CT 40, Gildemeister CTX 200 (automatic bar feeder, back machining, and driven tools);
CNC milling machines: Deckel DMU 50 VL (automatic tool change, tool break monitoring, automatic part measurement, 2-table pendulum processing), Deckel DMU 60 E (automatic tool change), Deckel FP 5 NC, two Deckel FP 3 NC, Maho MHC 700;
Others: CNC part head, turret lathe, various conventional lathes and milling machines, cantilever, column, and bench drilling machines, surface grinding machine.
2. For sheet metal processing:
CNC punching machines: AMADA Aries 245, Nisshinbo HTP1000, Trumpf punch-laser 2.4 KW
CNC bending presses: AMADA FBD88025 F 2.5 m / 80 t,
Others: various punches and spindle presses 3-60 t, bending presses 1 to 2 m up to 60 t, shears 2.5 m, CNC spot welding machines (also for aluminum), welding devices and bolt setting machines.
3. For storage:
Material storage: CNC sheet metal high rack storage with a load capacity of 90 t for sheets up to a maximum of 1250x2500 mm in steel, stainless steel, nickel silver, aluminum, brass, copper, etc.;
Tool / parts storage: 4 CNC high rack storages with 20 t load capacity each.
4. For metrological product monitoring / control:
For contract measurement / quality assurance, in addition to the usual measuring instruments, we have a Mitutoyo CNC 3D measuring machine available. Measurements can be carried out according to customer requirements with documentation and statistical evaluation.
5. For surface treatment:
The goods we manufacture are painted, galvanized, anodized, engraved, or screen printed according to specifications. We can handle the glass bead blasting of your parts in-house for you.
Since 1996, we have been certified by Germanischer Lloyd according to DIN EN ISO 9002.
