With over 30 years of experience in the machine construction sector, BZT manufactures high-quality CNC portal milling machines and engraving machines for industry, model making, and advertising technology.
With around 1000 machines sold in the last 5 years, BZT is one of the most innovative companies in the field of CNC machine construction. With a number of independent distribution partners, BZT is present in 13 countries, and the delivery of machines is already possible worldwide.
The designs of the CNC portal milling machines and engraving machines are tailored to the specific needs of the users. New developments continuously expand BZT's product portfolio. One of the company's guiding principles is that those who do not strive to improve every day will one day no longer be good.
BZT owes its great success to its long tradition. The company was founded 30 years ago as a machining company by Günther Bothur. As a competent partner in mold, fixture, and machine construction, the company became a reliable and flexible supplier of technologically demanding components, assemblies, machines, and systems.
In 2005, André Bothur presented the first self-developed portal milling machine. The goal of maintaining the high quality standard and flexibility of the machining operation was achieved after a short time.
Through numerous improvements and further developments, the base of the series was broadened, equipping them for more and more application areas.
After over 500 delivered portal milling machines to satisfied customers, BZT Maschinenbau GmbH was founded and spun off from the parent company, BOTHUR Zerspanungstechnik OHG.
The Bothur OHG continues to act as a supplier of assemblies for the production of BZT, enabling a cost-efficient and flexible manufacturing of the machines.
