The Schreiner Group has expanded its plant at the Dorfen site with a large extension to the existing production building, gaining an additional 2,700 square meters of usable space. This creates ample room for continued successful growth. Managing Director Roland Schreiner, senior partner and builder Helmut Schreiner, as well as Dorfen's first mayor Heinz Grundner, together with other guests and employees, inaugurated the new building section, which forms the basis for a future-oriented production.

Since its opening in 2019, the Dorfen site has developed dynamically: from initially 25 employees, the number has grown to over 100 within a few years. To meet the growing space requirements for further growth, the extension with approximately 2,700 additional square meters of usable space has been realized in the past one and a half years. The expansion creates more space for additional printing and finishing capacities, a newly structured shelving warehouse, color laboratories, social areas, and optimized logistics zones for incoming and outgoing goods.

As an important component of future production logistics, the new driverless transport system was also explained during the opening. The system is designed to automate and make the material flow between production and storage more efficient in the future. Initial test runs have already been successfully conducted.

The Dorfen location is a great example of growth with a system, emphasized Managing Director Roland Schreiner. With the new extension and the planned automation steps, we are consciously investing in more efficiency, process quality, and future viability. These steps not only strengthen the Dorfen plant but the entire company.

Senior partner and builder Helmut Schreiner also emphasizes: It fills me with great joy to see how the Dorfen plant has developed. With the extension, we are sending a clear signal for long-term growth and the future of our family business.

Dorfen's first mayor Heinz Grundner acknowledged the company's commitment during the opening ceremony: The Schreiner Group sends a strong signal with this investment. The combination of structural expansion and innovative technology shows how attractive Dorfen is as a business location and that sustainable and long-term planning is taking place here.
