The ANCA Tool of the Year Awards, now presented for the eighth time, honored innovation and technical excellence in cutting tool manufacturing at an awards ceremony at the ANCA booth during EMO Hannover.

Xiamen Golden Egret Special Alloy Co., Ltd (XGE) received the highest award in the category 'Made on ANCA' for its innovative ball nose end mill. The precisely designed and highly accurate tool features multiple radii of R0.06 mm and R0.07 mm to minimize wear on the finishing wheel while ensuring exceptional accuracy. The dimensional accuracy and precision of the ball nose end mill, achieved using ANCA's ULTRA technology, impressed the jury. XGE has been working with ANCA machines for over 20 years and has always relied on the latest technologies.
In the category 'Virtual Tool', Zhuzhou Huarui Precision Tools Co., Ltd impressed the jury with a finely simulated ceremonial scepter symbolizing power and happiness. The design began with hand sketches before being programmed in ToolRoom and visualized in 3D with CIM3D. An excellent selection of grinding routines allowed for the creation of complex geometries that combine technical precision with artistic design.
The award 'Female Machinist of the Year 2025' went to Nayeli Martínez from OSG GmbH, recognized for her technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and creativity. Nayeli's career impresses in many ways.
In an international environment, she distinguished herself through willingness to learn, commitment, and concrete technical results. In several instances, she gained the trust of her customers by improving process times, precision, and tool efficiency.
Nayeli, who holds a degree in Biotechnology Engineering, said: 'I am honored to be named Female Machinist 2025. This award recognizes women in the manufacturing industry, and I am grateful to ANCA for this platform. With the support of my colleagues, mentors, and family, this award is not the end, but a new beginning – one that inspires me to continue advancing and contributing to innovation in the precision tool industry.'
With the annual awards, ANCA provides a platform for the personalities, achievements, and creativity in the precision tool industry. In addition to showcasing the impressive design and manufacturing capabilities of ANCA customers, it aims to promote sustainability and diversity in the industry.
